Coffee & Chat Podcast
Hi Guys - welcome to the coffee & chat podcast. My name is Ian Simpson and the aim of this podcast is to help you improve your communication skills in English.
Each podcast will last about 20 mins and is aimed at high beginner + level. I will speak speak at about 80% of normal speed. Each topic will have target vocabulary which I will repeat frequently.
I will speak natural British English, with a natural flow, not rehearsed or practiced !!
Each Podcast episode will have a special topic. Downloadable worksheets are available for each topic. For this first course, there are 48 topics.
The “ 48 English Conversation Topics “ course can be purchased from the Active English Website - which is www.activeenglishnow.com — go to “store” and find the course. It can be downloaded onto your device or printed out. Use this worksheet as you listen to the podcast.
If you are am English teacher, its a great resource to use with your students. They can all have the topics on their device ( paperless ) and the podcasts are free !!
